Where are we?
The traveler sits exactly where finished work puts it. Seven of fifteen tasks done puts you 47% of the way there, with a “You are here” marker to prove it.
Waypoint turns your project into a live journey your clients can follow from one link. Finish a task and they watch you move forward. No logins, no “any update?” emails.
7 of 15 tasks complete
The spreadsheet. Fifteen rows, five columns and a status cell somebody colored red in March. Every update means a scroll, a squint and a meeting.
The kanban board. Cards slide between columns all week. You can watch the work move, and you still can't tell how far you've come or how much road is left.
Waypoint. The same fifteen tasks become one journey. Where you are, what's stuck and where you're headed, in a single glance.
Every status meeting asks the same three things. Waypoint answers them before anyone has to ask.

Blocked work glows right where it sits on the route. Connect lead forms is waiting on CRM access, and everyone can see it before it turns into a surprise.
Every project has a destination with a name and a date. Milestones mark the way, so the finish line stays in view from the very first task.

The short version: a live, visual project tracker your clients can follow from a link. Free to start.
More in the guides: a status report template, project timeline examples and how to share progress with clients.
Waypoint is a visual project tracker made by Codified. It turns the tasks you already track in Google Sheets, Excel or CSV files and tools like monday.com, Jira and Asana into a live, animated journey: every finished task moves the project forward, blockers glow, and the destination stays on screen. You share it with clients and stakeholders as a live link they open without an account.
Anyone who delivers work to clients over weeks and keeps getting asked for updates: photographers and videographers delivering galleries, designers and brand studios, web and marketing agencies, PR teams running campaigns, contractors and remodelers, and consultants. Each client gets a live link to their own journey, and the last stop can carry a button like “View your gallery” or “See the live site”. Internal teams use it to keep stakeholders on one page too. See how each team uses Waypoint.
It doesn’t replace them. Your team keeps working where it already works; Waypoint reads the tasks and shows progress in a way clients understand at a glance, without guest seats, logins or internal comments. Think of it as the client-facing view of the project tracker you already have.
No. Live links open in any browser on any device, and the people viewing them never count as editors on your plan. You choose whether milestone names, task names and dates are shown. Owners and internal notes are never shown.
Today: Google Sheets (paste a share link and Waypoint checks it every 15 minutes), CSV and Excel uploads, and exports from monday.com, Jira, Asana, Notion, Trello, ClickUp, Linear, Airtable, GitHub and Microsoft Planner. Direct sync with monday.com, Jira and other tools, posting updates to Slack and Microsoft Teams, and an MCP server for AI assistants are on the way. You can also start a journey from scratch with a template. See the step-by-step guide for each tool.
Only finished work counts. Percent complete is the number of done tasks divided by all tasks, so the journey moves when something is actually finished, not when it’s “nearly there”. A milestone is reached when all of its tasks are done, and blocked tasks are flagged on the route.
Waypoint is free to start: the Free plan includes one active journey with a live link. Starter is $9 a month or $72 a year, Pro is $29 a month or $228 a year, and Agency is $99 a month or $828 a year, in US dollars. Every new account gets 14 days of Pro with no card, and you can cancel any time.
Yes. Share the sheet so anyone with the link can view it, paste the link into Waypoint and confirm which columns hold the task, status, milestone and due date. Waypoint checks the sheet every 15 minutes, so the journey moves when you update a status. There’s a free Google Sheets project tracker template you can start from.
Waypoint is made by Codified, a custom software team for organizations and agencies. Payments are handled by Stripe, and support is by email at erik@codified.dev.
